Our Services

    Fishing Camps are offered throughout the year with Mt. Pleasant’s Recreation Department. Camps begin with two days of “Introduction and Instruction” at The Darby Building in the Old Village, followed by two days of fishing at the Mt. Pleasant Pier.

    Spring and Fall Camps are offered during the school-year and are one day a week for four weeks (4:00 - 6:00pm) [ 8 hours total | $225 ].

    Summer Camps are offered from June to August and are Monday to Thursday (8:30 - 11:00am) [ 10 hours total | $275 ].

  • Group classes are offered throughout the year and are ideal for littles who may not be able to attend Fishing Camps or for littles who prefer a smaller group setting for learning. Classes begin with “Introduction and Instruction” before we start fishing.

    Class length (hours per day) and duration (number of days or weeks) are completely flexible to your schedule and adaptable for any experience level.

    Group classes are preferred to last a minimum of two hours (depending on experience levels) and must have at least 3 littles (5 - 12 years old).

    Classes can take place at public fishing docks (Mt. Pleasant Pier, James Island County Park, etc.) or at safe private water access points (ponds, docks, tidal creeks).

    [ $50 / hour / little ]

  • One-on-One Classes are offered throughout the year and are ideal for littles who learn best on their own. Classes begin with “Introduction and Instruction” before we start fishing.

    Class length (hours per day) and duration (number of days or weeks) are completely flexible to your schedule and adaptable for any experience level.

    One-on-One classes are preferred to last a minimum of two hours (depending on experience level) and may have 1 - 2 littles (4 - 12 years old).

    Classes can take place at public fishing docks (Mt. Pleasant Pier, James Island County Park, etc.) or at safe private water access points (ponds, docks, tidal creeks).

    [ $75 / hour / little ]

  • Mommy and Me Classes are offered throughout the year and are a great way to get introduced to fishing with your little(s) or brush up on old skills, all while spending fun quality time together outdoors.

    Classes begin with “Introduction and Instruction” before we start fishing. Classes are completely flexible to your schedule and adaptable for any experience level(s).

    Classes must have at least one adult (>18 years old, must have a valid SC Recreational Saltwater Fishing License) and one child (4 - 12 years old) and must last at least two hours.

    Classes can take place at public fishing docks (Mt. Pleasant Pier, James Island County Park, etc.) or at safe private water access points (ponds, docks, tidal creeks).

    [$100 / hour / parent + child ]
